29 ENTERPRISE
Smart density, human-scale impact.
Sited in a transitional Raleigh neighborhood between NC State University’s campus and the Village District, 29 Enterprise brings 31 thoughtfully designed condominiums to life. Careful planning and zoning expertise unlocked additional density, allowing five levels to fit within a three story envelope and increasing total units by 15 percent.
The design plays with subtractive and additive gestures: street-level porches, pedestrian entries, and vehicular access points carve into the main mass, creating depth, material variation, and welcoming outdoor spaces. Vertical circulation and two-story mezzanine units extend beyond the main envelope, letting daylight spill into interiors.
Good Work Architects guided the project from site planning through design architecture, architecture of record, and interior design. The result is a cohesive and efficient building that supports both city life and human-scale connection, plus a rooftop deck with downtown views that’s already a neighborhood favorite..
